    Private-Pay Rates

If you’ve browsed through my site, I hope you’ve noticed that I do things a little differently. That’s fine with me, different is good.

My focus is always on my clients, and my goal is always their healing. Many therapists have a diagnosis as their goal, instead of a tool that is sometimes used to assist in healing. I’ve found that diagnoses can lead to coping instead of healing.

When possible, I don’t rush through sessions. Too often, therapists are pressured to look at a clock over and over again to ensure that they will be finished in time and don’t focus on the clients.

When you schedule a private-pay session with me, your visit is completely confidential. Unless you are at risk of going harm to yourself or someone else, everything we discuss is private. I do not submit a mental health diagnosis to an insurance agency or exchange information with a third party. I find that this approach is the most empowering and respectful of your privacy.
